Experience and Education
Helen has a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting) and a Masters Degree in Public and Nonprofit Administration.
She has over thirty years of accounting/finance experience which includes doing corporate payroll and annual tax returns.
She has experience in for-profit and nonprofit organizations, both in finance and operations.
As part of her undergraduate degree, she took classes at the University of MN in individual income tax and has taken several ANNUAL continuing education courses in tax related issues.
Effective December 2017, Helen competed the IRS 2018 Annual Filing Season Program which includes successfully passing a 3-hour competency test and completing the Annual AFTR course consisting of continuing education and testing in Federal tax issues, tax-preparer ethics and responsibilities, and other Federal tax law updates.
